At the June 10, 1997 Council
meeting, the Apple Ridge development that will be reviewed is the same that was presented to the
Planning Commission, with the exception of the area not in MUSA which will be taken out. It is
approximately five or six acres and not significant enough for a second Planning Commission review.

Case #1: Request for A Conditional Use Permit to Grade and Export Soils; Case
of Thomas Kurak

Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to table action until the
next regular Planning Commission meeting.

Motion carried. Energy Park. The property is zoned Business/Warehouse
with a minimum lot size of one acre. Each parcel will be at least three acres and exceed minimum lot
width requirements. The southeast corner lot needs a drainage easement to accommodate a pre-
existing sedimentation pond.

Commissioner Deemer asked about access to the lots and stated that it is his understanding that right-
of-way has been dedicated to the County.

Planning Commission/June 3, 1997
