PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, September 2, 1997, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request for a conditional use permit to grade and export soils; case of Good Value <br />Homes, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Comrmss~oner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden convened the public hearing at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported the grading plan submitted for approval with the Apple Ridge <br />preliminary plat will require exporting approximately 120,000 yards of material from the site. City <br />Code does requires a special permit for grading operations associated with an approved plat when <br />it involves exporting soils from the site. The permit designates that all material will be hauled offthe <br />property onto T.H. #47. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ms. Peggy Purvis, 6025 - 157th Lane N.W., asked if dirt and all material would be hauled out on <br />T.H.#47. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated all access will be on T.H.#47.
