Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 907 -10- <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT <br />TO ESTABLISH AND OPERATE A BED AND BREAKFAST ON THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 7822 142 AVE NW, BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #07 -_ -_ adopting <br />Findings of Fact # for this use and herein approves the Home Occupation Permit. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />On , 2007 a Home Occupation Permit ( "Permit ") was issued by the City of Ramsey ( "City ") <br />to Mary Toso ( "Permit Holder ") for a home occupation to establish a bed and breakfast within <br />the principal dwelling on the property generally known as 7822 142 Ave NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lot 8, Block. 3 Alpaca Estates 2 nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota, subject to <br />easement as shown on plat <br />( "Subject Property: ") <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.05 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The <br />conditions of this permit are as follows: <br />1. That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a bed and breakfast <br />within the principal dwelling located on the Subject Property. <br />2. Should the Permittee die or move to a new location, the Permit shall be automatically <br />terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at <br />the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect <br />shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation <br />of the Permit without further hearing. <br />3. The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20 %) of the <br />total floor area of the private dwelling. <br />4. Adequate off - street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. <br />5. No more than 4 (four) guests may occupy the bed and breakfast at one time. <br />6. One sign (no larger than 3 square feet) is allowed at the end of the Permitee's driveway. <br />-112- <br />
