Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden noted receipt of City Council meeting minutes. There were no comments by <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden adjourned the regular meeting at 7:33 p.m. in order to conduct the following <br />public hearings: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Request for conditional use permit for a metal building on less than 2.5 acres, case of Scott <br />and Lori Jones <br />Request to rezone certain property from B-1 Business to B-2 Business and R-3 Urban <br />Residential, case of Rademacher Companies, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the regular meeting back to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for A Conditional Use Permit for A Metal Accessory Building on <br />Less Than 2.5 Acres; Case of Scott and Lori Jones <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the applicants propose to construct a metal pole barn <br />accessory building. Their property does have substantial tree screening. The Commission has <br />previously granted such requests when sufficient natural screening exists on the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Deemer to accept the findings of fact <br />in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Discussion: Commissioner Deemer requested that the findings of fact include the letter signed by <br />neighbors. Commissioner Holland accepted the amendment. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None.
