Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the property is entitled to house only five or six horses, none of <br />which can be housed in the proposed accessory building due to its proximity to lot lines. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Thorud, to amend the findings in the <br />affirmative, add an item reflecting that the proposed building cannot be used to house animals because <br />of its proximity to property lines, and recommend Council adoption of same. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, that the proposed permit be <br />modified to read as follows: there is an existing non-conforming structure on the Subject Property, <br />and this permit shall not allow the existing and additional accessory buildings total square footage to <br />exceed 2,464 square feet. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Case tt2: Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Donald Nordvik <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that Don Nordvik is seeking site plan approval to construct <br />a 2,160 square foot accessory building at 8020 - 147th Avenue NW. She indicated the accessory <br />building would be used to provide additional space for supplies and vehicles for the 6,000 square foot <br />manufacturing building currently on the site. She said the lot coverage complies with the 35% <br />restriction in City code and the existing pavement and concrete curbing will be expanded to service <br />the accessory building. She advised the structure complies with the setback requirements. She stated <br />the building is approximately seven years old and in good condition.
