Councilme~ber!Zimmerman inquired if any of the parcels will be assessed for any portion of the <br />project. <br /> <br /> Principal Cit~y Engineer Olson replied yes. <br /> <br /> Councilme~ber ~immerman inquired if the residents could petition against the assessments. <br /> City Attorney/G~)odrich replied yes. <br /> <br />Mayor Gam~c r*quested that the City Attorney research whether or not the City can assess for <br />only the pav~_meitt portion of a project if sewer and water extension is a part of the project. <br /> <br />Motion by ~Couhcilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to ratify the <br />recommendaition~ofthe Public Works Committee. <br />Motion carded. ';Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Cook, Elvig, <br />Kurak, and P~arslon. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />4) AuthCri~tion to Update the Comprehensive Water Supply Plan <br />The Public Worl/l;s Committee recommended that the City Council authorize staff to hire Bolten <br />& Menk at ~co~t not to exceed $15,000 for completing an update to the comprehensive Water <br />Supply Plan ~and ~lirect staff to negotiate with Ramsey Town Center LLC to assist with the cost of <br />the study. [ . <br /> <br />City Admini~tratgr Norman noted that he did receive $5,000 from Ramsey Town Center, LLC <br />for this studyl <br /> <br />Motion by CoOncilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to ratify the <br />recommendation Of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carri4,~t.
