Bjerste{[t re[31ied no. <br />Mr. <br /> <br />Principal Pl annir Trudgeon noted that the garage doors would not be visible from the existing <br />backyards. <br /> <br />Councilmen~ber~Kurak noted that there is currently a significant berm along those properties that <br />will not be r~m6ved. <br /> <br />Councllme~berrStrommen inquired as to how long the driveways would be. <br /> <br />Mr. Bjersted~.~. re~lied approximately 40 feet. <br /> <br />Councilme er !Strommen inquired if it would be a single driveway for two units. <br /> <br />Mr. Bjerstexl re~lied yes. <br /> <br />Councilmen~er ~;trommen, stated that no additional parking is being added by the change. <br />Mr. Bjersted rel~lied that that was true, but it did eliminate the concern of the driveways being <br />too short. <br /> <br />Councilmem~er ,~ltrommen stated that she had two concerns about the driveways, one was the <br />length and tl~ other was that there was very little off-street parking. <br /> <br />Mr. Bjersted~no~d that they were not losing any parking spaces. <br /> <br />Couucilmem[er iZimmerman inquired if a site plan amendment required notification to the <br />neighboring ~rop~erty owners. <br /> <br />Principal pla~ne~ Trudgeon replied that site plans don't require public hearings. <br /> <br />Councilmem~er Zimmerman~ inquired if any green space was being lost with the change. <br />Principal Pla~ne~Trudgeon explained that there would be a loss of some green space between the <br />units, but not'}r,~ -lout$ide of the actual townhouse lot. <br /> <br />Mr. Bjerstedtlnot~d that there would also be a lot less asphalt in the front of the homes. <br /> <br />Motion by C~un~lmember Pearson, seconded by Counmlmember Cook, to approve the amended <br />site plan for ~e ~illage of Sunfish Lake Planned Unit Development subject to compliance with <br />City staff review ietter dated June 20, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion carrie, gl. ~oting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Kurak, and <br />Zimmerman.
