Business to a Planned :['nit Development (PUD). She stated that they would <br />like to put in sip t~~'in hoil~e ~uiits. She noted ihat~the Planning Commission reviewed this plan at <br />their S epmmber 7, 2006 ~n~ eeii n ~ and recomuzended denial. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that if the zoning remains as is, a commercial business could come <br />a1~d clear aut all the trees so there would be no buffer for the residential area. <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated that there would be a buffer required even if this was developed <br />commerciall; . <br />Councilmember Dehen stat~;d that he has not been in favor of this change from the beginning and <br />feels residents would rathzr see businesses'on this land than town homes. He stated that he does <br />not see a compelling reason to cram three buildings onto this lot and change the comprehensive <br />plan.
