There is no subdivision proposal before. the. City at this time; if the Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment and rezoning are approved, a subdivision would still need to be approved before any <br />new homes could be -built on the property. <br />The Planning Commission held a public hearing. on the zoning amendment request at their <br />November 1,2007 meeting. There was no citizen input. The Commission recommended that the <br />City Council approve the zoning amendment. <br />Recommendation: <br />The Planning Commission and Staff recommend approval of the zoning amendment. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to approve Findings of Fact #_ favorable to the applicant and introduce Ordinance <br />#07-11-_ rezoning the property from B-2 Business'to R-1 Residential, contingent on receipt of a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br />-or- <br />Motion to deny the rezoning based on fmdings of fact. <br />Reviewed By; <br />City Administrator <br />Community Development Director <br />CC: 1L13.07 <br />-316- <br />
