Ms. Frolik disagreed, stating that the Ramsey Resident summarized the proposed ordinance on at <br />least one occasion. She also stated that it has been published several times in the Anoka Union, the <br />official newspaper of the City. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer noted that the City Council is comfortable with the recommendations for <br />private use vehicles but they want stricter commercial regulations. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden noted that the resulting recommendation was less strict than the existing <br />Code. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik added that the ordinance is also coming back to the Planning Commission because <br />some of City Council wants consideration given to a cap on the number of vehicles stored outside, <br />and they want a better definition of''75% screening." <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski requested the addition of Case g9A: Request for Sketch Plan Review of <br />the Proposed Subdivision of Bury & Carlson Property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to approve the agenda as <br />amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />APPROVE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to approve the <br />following Planning Commission minutes: <br /> <br />1) Public Hearing minutes regarding a proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 9 (Zoning and <br /> Subdivision of Land) of the City Code regarding structure setbacks from thoroughfares, dated <br /> February 6, 1996. <br /> <br />2) Public Hearing minutes regarding a proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 9 (Zoning and <br /> Subdivision of Land) of the City Code, Section 9.21 (Environmental Protection) and Section <br /> 9.23 (Scenic River), dated February 6, 1996. <br /> <br />3) Public Heating minutes regarding a request for preliminary plat approval of Fox Knoll 2nd <br /> Addition; case of Residential Development, Inc., dated February 6, 1996. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer scanned the audience looking for Ma'. Terry Hendriksen to verify a portion <br />of the February 6, 1996 minutes, Case #8, wherein it states "Mr. Hendriksen told the Planning <br />Commission, for their information, that he has made an offer to the City that, if the three <br />individuals he believes conducted a meeting in violation of the open meeting law abstain from <br />voting on this matter, he will drop his lawsuit." Mr. Hendriksen was not present, however, <br />Commissioners LaDue, Holland, and Bawden all stated their recollection is that this statement is <br />accurate.
