The Planning Commission proceeded to review the terms of the permit. <br /> <br />With reference to the haul road (g4), the applicant stated if it became a problem he would come in <br />with a request to access 149th Avenue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Holland to delete #16 which read <br />"All grading shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of the commencement of the <br />grading operation." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Holland, Deemer, <br />Jensen, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thorud noted that g9 covers the dust problem, and Chairperson Bawden stated that <br />#19 addresses it also, <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend that City <br />Council approve Good Value Homes' request for a conditional use permit to grade and export soils <br />in the proposed plat of Pondview, based upon modifications made to the CUP by the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Deemer, Holland, <br />Jensen, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Request for Sketch Plan Approval of Ferrum Addition; Case of City <br />of Ramsey <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the City of Ramsey is in the process of platting recently <br />acquired property lying west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and north of the Burlington Northern <br />railroad tracks. The area to be platted is approximately 8.5 acres proposed to be subdivided into <br />one industrial lot and one outlot for possible future development. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council grant final plat approval to Fermm Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, Terry, and Thomd. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case g7: Request for Preliminary Plat Approval of Business Park 95 2nd <br /> Addition; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reported the City of Ramsey proposes to plat Business Park 95 2nd <br />Addition, approximately 65.5 acres proposed to be subdivided into 6 industrial lots, 3 ouflots for <br />future development, 1 outlot for drainage and utility, and 1 outlot for possible future expansion to <br />McKinley Street to the City's eastern boundary. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council grant preliminary plat approval to Business Park 95 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Deemer discussed the possible alignment of McKinley Street. <br />Commissioner Thomd questioned whether the City planned to sell the lots, and Ms. Frolik replied <br />yes, Copper Sales is already in the process of buying a lot in the southeast corner of the plat. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, Terry, and Thorud.
