1996 Spring Recycling Day <br /> <br />The 1996 Spring Recycling Day was held on Saturday, May 4, 1996, at Central Park. The event, <br />which accepts numerous materials, some for free and some for a fee, was also a success. Fees <br />generated at the event were charges for item such as tires and appliances. The total proceeds for <br />the day amounted to $1,283.00. We have not yet received billings from the vendors that <br />participated but anticipate that the revenues generated should offset the costs incurred. <br /> <br />Remaining 1996 Communi .ty Events <br /> <br />There are still several community events that will take place during 1996.
