Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case /ti: Lions Picnic/Application for a One-Day 3.2 Beer License <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Ramsey Lions have again applied for a one-day, 3.2 <br />beer license for the Community Picnic that is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 1996, at Central <br />Park. They are also requesting that the $25 fee be waived as has been done in the past. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />application for the Ramsey Lions Club for a one-day, 3.2 beer license for the Community Picnic <br />scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 1996, at Central Park and also to waive the $25.00 fee for such <br />event. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone Certain Property from B-1 Business to R-1 Rural <br />Residential; Case of Ann Moroz <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Ann Moroz is the fee title owner of Lots 6 and 7 of Block 1 <br />in Golden Eagle Estates and she has submitted an application to rezone the property from B-1 <br />Business to R-1 Rural Residential. The subject lots are zoned B-1 Business and have been zoned <br />for commercial uses since the 1970's. No commercial development has occurred on the property <br />but Ms. Moroz has received an offer for purchase of Lot 7 for development with a single family <br />home. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 7, and there were no verbal <br />or written comments submitted regarding the application. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution/~)5-05-117 adopting Findings of Fact #0399 relating to a request from Ann Moroz to <br />rezone certain property form B-1 Business to R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
