PRESENTATIONS: <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler presented Volunteer Fire Fighter Rick Helgeson with a badge commemorating <br />the end of his one-year probationary period. He stated that Fire Fighter Helgeson is to be <br />congratulated and commended and that he is doing an excellent job. <br /> <br />Dick Kimbler, who is running for Representative for the State Senate District 50, gave a brief <br />~ presentation. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik informed the Council that the applicant, North Fork Inc., has asked <br />that Case #13: Request for Final Plat Approval of Northfork Oaks 3rd Addition be tabled to the <br />August 27 meeting. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich announced that Council will be conducting a special closed meeting <br />tomorrow night (Wednesday, August 14, 1996) at 5:00 p.m. regarding the Hendriksen versus the <br />City of Ramsey lawsuit and after adjournment of that subject, he would be asking Council to <br />conduct another closed meeting to discuss disciplinary action. The meeting tonight would not be <br />adjourned, it would be recessed to 5:00 p.m. tomorrow night. He continued that after the closed <br />meeting, Council may open the meeting up to the public at about 5:30 or 5:45. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Peterson.
