Motion by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Terry to approve #1 through #14 <br />in the affirmative. , <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Holland, Terry, Bawden, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Holland to adopt Resolution <br />#96-09-214 adopting Findings of Fact #0410 relating to Stephen Schmidt's request for a variance. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment proceed to review the terms of the variance. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Holland to approve the issuance <br />of a variance for Stephen Schmidt, based on Findings of Fact #0410, and adopt Resolution #96-09- <br />215 declaring terms of the variance as presented. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Chairperson Deemer asked if 85 feet was too restrictive. Mr. Schmidt stated <br />that was his best measurement. Ms. Frolik stated that a few feet of leeway would be appropriate. <br /> <br />Amendment by Board Member Holland and seconded by Board Member Thorud to amend #2 to read <br />eighty (80) feet from the front property line. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Holland, Thorud, Bawden, <br />Jensen, LaDue, and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />BOARD INPUT <br /> <br />Board Member Jensen asked how long it has been since the City has reviewed the exterior siding <br />requirements for commercial buildings. Ms. Frolik stated it has been reviewed within the last few <br />years. <br /> <br />Board Member Jensen stated she had a concern regarding vinyl siding.
