She explained that the Police Department transferred a
1990 Ford Crown Victoria, a 1992 Ford Crown Victoria and two 1993 Ford Crown
Victorias into the administrative fleet. Due to the high mileage on the 1990 Ford Crown
Victoria, she suggested it be sold as surplus property. Due to purchases of new vehicles in
the Street and Utilities Departments, other vehicles were deemed surplus. She listed the
following surplus property: 1990 Ford Crown Victoria, 1982 Ford L-800 2-1/2 ton dump
with plow and wing, 1985 Chevrolet utility pick-up, 1989 Ford Crown Victoria, 1989
Ford Crown Victoria and a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice. Ms. Hart added that with the purchase
of the new computer system, it is quite possible there may be various pieces of computer
equipment that may also be declared surplus. She asked that the buildings at the old Public
Works site be declared surplus property also with the knowledge that they may be
demolished or sold for scrap and/or moving. She anticipated advertising the sale of such
properties in the League of Minnesota Cities Bulletin and/or publishing them in the Anoka

Finance Committee/September 26, 1995
Page I of 5
