FIRE BOARD <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Board conducted a regular meeting On Wednesday, November 15, 1995, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center Fire Station, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Chairperson Alan Pearson <br />Boardmember Dave Lewandowski <br />Boardmember Jon McLaughlin <br />Boardmember Chris Weiss <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler (ex-officio) <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Glen Hardin <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant Fire Chief Tom Hoxter <br />Brace Hoeke <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Pearson called the regular meeting of the Fire Board to order at 6:07 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Boardmember Weiss and seconded by Boardmember Lewandowski to approve the Fire <br />Board meeting minutes dated July 12, 1995. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Pearson, Boardmembers Weiss, Lewandowski and <br />McLaughlin. Voting No: None. Abstain: Councilmember Beyer because she wasn't present at <br />that meeting. Absent: Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Boardmember McLaughlin to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Approve Appointment of Dave Lewandowski to the Fire Board <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler explained that Chuck Williams, who is a member of the Fire Board, has decided <br />to leave the Fire Deparunent. At the last business meeting of the Fire Department, a vote was taken <br />as to who would fill the vacancy on the Fire Board created by Chuck's resignation. Dave <br />Lewandowski was nominated and he accepted. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Boardmember Weiss to appoint Fire Fighter <br />Dave Lewandowski to fill the vacancy on the Fire Board. <br /> <br />Fire Board/November 15, 1995 <br /> Page I of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
