FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday March 12, 2002, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Hendriksen called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:24 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was nolle. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case A: <br /> <br />Approve Grading Bid for Elmcrest Park <br /> <br />Park/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that bids were received for grading of Elmcrest Park with <br />the lowest bid being $88,481 from Park Construction. Staff recommel~ded that contract be <br />awarded to Park Construction in an amount of $88,481, noting that it was staff's estimate that the <br />cost would be $150,000. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if Park Construction met the qualifications to do the <br />necessary work. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that he had every confidence that Park Construction <br />could complete the work. <br /> <br />Finance Committee/March 12, 2002 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
