Merland Otto, Hakanson Anderson & Associates <br />Mr. Richard Dargis, KANO Radio <br />Ms. ~A~gela Flint, ABC Newspapers <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan <br />Mr. Steve Larsen <br />Mr. DOn Stauffer <br />Mr. Chuck Soderholm <br />Mr. Dick Seiber <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel called the regular Airport Commission meeting to order at 7:47 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF ~ (DMMISSI~ MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Commission consensus was to table approval of the minutes until the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSI~ <br /> <br />Case %1: Ug~la~e Media regarding Gateway North Industrial Airport: <br /> <br />Mr. Merland Ott° was present to update the media regarding the airport master <br />plan. He sta~e~ that the actual study was started two years ago, but talk of <br />it began earlieN ~han that. ~here was opposition to alternate sites, so it was <br />decided to pre~.~ re Yan airport master plan on the current airport. The airport <br />master plan is ~ gmideline for development of the airport over the next 20 <br />years. The facility meets minim~ criteria standards on both State and Federal <br />levels. It iSn°w technically feasible to develop this site.
