<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT  
<br />TH 
<br />FOR GARNET STREET AND 168 AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION; IMPROVEMENT  
<br />PROJECT #13-10  
<br />  
<br />th 
<br />WHEREAS,  
<br />the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Garnet Street from 167 Avenue  
<br />th 
<br />to the north plat line of Now and Then Estates, and 168 Avenue west of Garnet Street to the cul- 
<br />de-sac, and to assess benefitted properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements,  
<br />  
<br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429; and 
<br />  
<br />WHEREAS,  
<br />pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 25, 2014, a  
<br />Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to proposed improvements to  
<br />thth 
<br />Garnet Street from 167 Avenue to the north plat line of Now and Then Estates, and to 168  
<br />Avenue west of Garnet Street, including the reconstruction of streets, the construction of  
<br />sidewalks, storm sewer, and public utilities, and other appurtenant work as needed; and  
<br />  
<br />WHEREAS,  
<br />pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted January 13, 2015, the  
<br />Feasibility Report was received and accepted, and a Public Hearing was ordered for February 10,  
<br />2015 at 7 p.m., where the City Council considered the proposed improvements for said streets in  
<br />accordance with the Feasibility Report; and  
<br />  
<br />WHEREAS 
<br />, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 10, 2015, the  
<br />City Engineer prepared plans and specifications with reference to said improvements; and  
<br />  
<br />WHEREAS 
<br />, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted April 28, 2015, the City  
<br />Council accepted final plans and specifications and authorized advertisements for bids for said  
<br />improvements; and  
<br />  
<br />WHEREAS,  
<br />benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the  
<br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429; and  
<br />  
<br />WHEREAS, 
<br /> bids were received, opened, and tabulated on June 3, 2015, and the following  
<br />bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids; and  
<br />
