REGULAR MEETING OF RAMSEY TOWN BOARD <br /> <br />January l?, 1972 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by the Chairman, Mr. <br />Scarborough. Present were Mr. Peterson, Clerk, Mr. Murphy, and <br />Mr. Goodrich, Township Attorney. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last stated meeting were read by Mr. Peter~. <br />Correction: the letter was net from Mr. Menkveld but froza i~r. <br />Sha~, the Township Sanitation Consultant. Mr. Scarborough moved <br />the minutes be accepted with the above correction. Seconded by <br />Mr. Murphy. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sca~borough instructed the Clerk to write M~. Walton, the Dog <br /> Catcher for the township, a letter informing him he has been given <br /> approval by the Town Board to enforce the dog ordinance. This <br /> ap~pval was given him at a meeting in the attorney's office last <br />~I~. Mr. Scarborough said Mr. Walton has permission to call the <br /> B & B Co. in case of dangerous dogs. Mr. Walton should be called <br /> by the residents if there are unlicensed dogs running around loose <br /> or if there is trouble with dogs. <br /> <br /> Street Signs: The m~aae e~g~~ has been c~ to Rhine- <br /> stone Ste The other two signs could not be placed because the <br /> streets had ~t been cut through and they didn't know where to put <br /> them. These streets are in the Miller Addition. Any signs put <br /> in from now on are to be put in and paid for by the developer and <br /> are to conform to the signs that have already been put in by the <br /> Township. Mr. $ca~boro.ughmoved'that we pay the sign company~he <br /> balance owing them of $500.00. Seconded by Mr. Murphy. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last Planning and Zoning Commission meeting <br />were read by Mr. Reimann, the Chairman. Mr. Reimann urged that <br />the plat accepted by the Planning and Zoning Commission at its <br />last meeting be turned down by the Town Board. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy urged that future plats have the house numbers and street <br />numbers put on the plats. I~r. Holum said these could not be put on <br />the registered plat because it was against state law. Mr. Hoium <br />said they could be put on a copy given to the Building Inspector. <br />Mr. Murphy moved that before a plat is finally accepted that a copy <br />of the plat having the house numbers and street numbers be given <br />to the Building Inspector. Seconded by Mr. Sca~borough. <br /> <br />Snowmobile Ordinance: The Town Board has accepted the State Code. <br />Mr. Scarborough feels that it is the duty of every citizen that <br />if he sees any one cutting fences that the name of such a person <br />should be turned in. <br /> <br />Richard Barstow: He asked whether the Township wanted to sand <br />50 or 60 miles of road by hand. He said the really icy places <br />had been sanded and he felt everything was pretty well in hand <br />at this time. It was mentioned that 153rd and Coquina was very <br />icy. <br /> <br /> <br />
