Councilmember Riley -introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-049 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR RIVERDALE <br />DRIVE UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #18-14 <br />WHEREAS, the undeveloped properties west of Armstrong Boulevard and south of <br />Highway 10 are within the City's Municipal Urban Services Area and require municipal utilities <br />to develop; and <br />WHEREAS, trunk sanitary sewer and watermain stubs exist in the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of old Armstrong Boulevard and Riverdale Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Lazydays RV is constructing a new maintenance facility south of Riverdale <br />Drive and east of Llama Street that must be served by municipal utilities; and <br />WHEREAS, Lazydays RV's engineer has prepared construction plans and specifications <br />for the required trunk sanitary sewer and watermain improvements along Riverdale Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Lazydays RV wants to connect their new maintenance facility to municipal <br />utilities by May of 2019, requiring winter construction of the new trunk utilities; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Development Agreement, plans and specifications <br />were developed by Lazydays RV's engineer, Civil Site Group, and were used to advertise for bids <br />for said trunk utility improvements as City Improvement Project 418-14, and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution 418-246, adopted December 11, <br />2018, the City Council accepted final plans and specifications and authorized advertisements for <br />bids for said improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and <br />Commerce on December 14 and 21, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were received, opened, and tabulated on February 5, 2019, and the <br />following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids; and <br />
