PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Works Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 18, <br />2003 at the Ramscy Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sara Strommen <br />Councihnember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br />Street Supervisor Grant Reimer <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Public Works Committee to order at 5:44 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson stated t hat h e w anted t o update t he Committee o n t he N PDES <br />permit under Committee/Staff input. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Street Widths in New Subdivisions <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that The Village of Sunfish Lake Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD) has proposed street widths, which fall below the City's residential street standards. <br />Discussion of this proposal should begin with a review of the rational behind the City's current <br /> <br />Public Works Committee/February 18, 2003 <br /> Page 1 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
