CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKACOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Monday, December 5, <br />2005, at the Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Conncilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig (arrived at 8:06 p.m.) <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen (arrived at 5:47 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Finance Director Diane Lund <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:34 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Transportation Advocacy Consultant <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman explained that the City needs to start planning its transportation <br />strategy for the coming year. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated the City's agenda would be to refresh the congressmen on what is <br />happening. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman advised that the Transportation Bill did get signed so the City would <br />be seeking funding for another ramp separate from Highway 10 funding. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked about consultant fees. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / December 5, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
