Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 985-129 <br /> <br />RESCLUTION ~ARDING BID (Projects 984-16 and 985-14) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />-- Project #84-16 (Ramsey Terrace) <br /> <br />a) Krypton Street N.W. between 142nd Avenue N.W. <br />and Industry Avenue N.W. (County Road 9116) <br /> <br />b) Junkite Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. <br />and 142nd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />c) Iodine Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. and <br />142nd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />d) 140th Lane N.W. between Krypton Street N.W. <br />and Iodine Street N.W. <br /> <br />e) 142nd Avenue N.W. between the west plat <br />boundary of Ramsey Terrace and the east plat <br />boundary of Ramsey Terrace. <br /> <br />f) Junkite Street N.W. between 142nd Avenue N.W. <br />and the north plat boundary of Ramsey Terrace. <br /> <br />-- Project #85-14 (Grade change Azurite & C.S.A.H. #5 <br /> <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />H & S Asphalt Company <br /> <br />$80,795.00 <br /> <br />Buffalo Bituminous <br /> <br />$91,840.00 <br /> <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br /> <br />$98,3 80.50 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that H & S Asphalt Company of <br />Anoka, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA GOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached <br />contract with H & S Asphalt Company of Anoka, Minnesota in the <br />name of the City of Ramsey for the improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
