Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendricksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Park/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Park Commissioner Reid Droegemueller <br />Park Commissioner Michael Rolfe <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was llOlle. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Review and Adopt 2000 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the schedule of rates, fees and charges which included the <br />adopted 1999 changes and the changes for which the proposed 2000 schedule is arrived at. She <br />explained that the rate increases take into effect staff recommendation, rates charged by <br />neighboring cities, and annual increases based on inflators. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman questioned why the proposed 2000 rate is higher for the General <br />Contractor than it is for the Irrigation Contractor. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund replied that the City does not have an Irrigation Contractor. <br /> <br />Finance Committee/December 14, 1999 <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
