CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Assistant Sean Walther <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special City Council meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson and Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Fire Station Site Selection <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that staff reviewed some consulting finns that could be <br />used for the fire station site selection, but because of time for the Request for Proposals, <br />we felt adding this to the firm that is doing our Comprehensive Planning would be the <br />quickest route to go.
