<br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-06-176 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0766 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE ON AN UNIMPROVED <br />SURFACE ON A PARCEL ZONED R-l RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RV World, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied <br />to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for outdoor storage on an <br />unimproved surface on the property located at 14453 Llama St NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.06 of the Ramsey City Code on May 4,2006, and that the public hearing was <br />properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by <br />reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-l Residential; the adjacent parcels to the east, west, and <br />south are zoned R-l Residential and the property to the north is zoned B-2 Business. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately forty (40) acres. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant operates an RV dealership located at 7405 Highway 10 NW. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant has an agreement with the owner of the Subject Property to utilize the <br />land for off-site storage of surplus Recreational Vehicles (RVs) and travel trailers. <br /> <br />6. That the proposed use is not a permitted use in the R-l Residential District. <br /> <br />7. That the RVs and travel trailers are currently stored on an unimproved surface on the Subject <br />Property . <br /> <br />8. That interim use permits, by definition, are limited to a maximum timeframe of five (5) years. <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant is requesting an interim use permit to allow for the storage of up to sixty <br />(60) RVs and/or travel trailers on the Subject Property for five (5) years. <br /> <br />10. That by reason of two previous one-year Interim Use Permits issued in the E-2 Employment <br />District for storage of RV World property off-site, this application appears to be the <br />Applicant's third attempt at a temporary fix without any apparent plans for needed <br />
