<br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment/7-10-78 <br />(Inderieden - Schmedke Hearings) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANORA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Ramsey's Board of <br />Adjustment convened on July 10, 1978, at Ramsey Municipal Center, 1 51 53 <br />Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Chairman Muller called the Board of Adjustment to order at 7:10 o'clock p.m. <br />and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Cox Also Present: Attorney Goodrich <br />Councilman Gamec <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Item 1 . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman Muller announced the purpose of this meeting concerns Charles <br />Inderieden, Super Bowl Inc., request for a variance from Section 170.014K- <br />Subdivision 5, of the City's Zoning Code. Mr. Inderieden is asking that <br />he be allowed to deviate from the Zoning Code and not finish the entire <br />proposed building with brick or stone. <br />,r <br /> <br />It was noted that official public notice of this hearing was published in <br />the Anoka County Union on 6/20/78 and mailed notice was sent to each of <br />the owners of the lots in Riverside West Addition. <br /> <br />Mr. Inderieden said he is proposing that only the front side facing Highway <br />10 be faced with brick or stone. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox explained that the present ordinance requires the entire building <br />to be brick or stone exterior and to deviate from the ordinance it is necessary <br />for the City's Board of Adjustment to conduct this public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilman Gamec asked Mr. Inderieden where the trucks will be coming in and <br />out. <br /> <br />Mr. Inderieden replied that his docks and parking lot will be located on the <br />east side of the proposed building. <br /> <br />Councilman Gamec expressed concern that there be adequate screening. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox asked that since the building will be exposed on the rear and <br />sides if Mr. Inderieden would object to putting brick or stone columns <br />spaced at intervals on the rear and sides of the building. <br /> <br />. ' Councilman Reimann concurred with the Mayor's suggestion. <br /> <br />Mr. Inderieden indicated that this could be arranged. <br />
