Bids were requested and two were received. The bid from Four Seasons roofing
was $33,291; the bid from Park Perfection was $31,223. Mr. Boos recommended awarding the
contract to Four Seasons because they met the requirement of submitting a bid bond and Park
Perfection did not. Mr. Boos pointed out that because the park buildings have soffit mounted
lights that continue to be vandalized, he is recommending a vandal resistant wall mount
replacement. A quote was obtained from S & S Electric for $4,225 for installation of
replacement lighting for both park buildings.

Finance Committee - May 13, 2003
