Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 8:37 a.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Acceptance of Resignation of City Employee James E. Norman <br /> <br />Resolution Accepting Resignation of City Employee James E. Norman <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich announced City Administrator James E. Norman is resigning. A <br />resolution has been prepared to accept the Separation Agreement between the City and Mr. <br />Norman. Council has held closed meetings to discuss Mr. Norman's resignation. At those <br />meetings Council reviewed the Separation Agreement and has agreed to accept the Agreement. <br />In this open meeting Council needs to confirm the acceptance of this Separation Agreement and <br />provide a summary of what was conducted in the closed meetings. This information is outlined <br />in the proposed resolution. Mr. Goodrich outlined the following in the proposed resolution: <br /> <br />1. That the City hereby accepts the resignation of James E. Norman as City Administrator, <br />effective December 31, 2006. <br />2.
