PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> <br />The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, March <br />13, 1996, at the Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Todd Cook <br />Commissioner Reid Droegemueller <br />Commissioner Jill Johns <br />Commissioner Tom LaMere <br />Commissioner Steve Ostmm <br />Commissioner Michael Skinner <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Beth Asfahl - Excused <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br />David Chmieleski, Landscape Architecture Intern <br />Ron Hetland, 6371 164th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Vice-Chair Cook called the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting to order at 6:23 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Hetland asked Commissioners not to resign because of what has transpired between <br />himself and City Council. He encouraged them to move the 5 year Capital Improvement Project <br />along to completion. The allocation in the Landfill Trust Fund will run out, and he feels that <br />taxpayers should be paying for some park improvements from the general fund. He thanked the <br />Commission for their support and wished the Commissioners luck. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johns and seconded by Commissioner Skinner to approve the agenda <br />with the addition of Case #7: Lake Itasca Trailhead, and Case #8: Nomination for Chair. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chair Cook, Commissioners Droegemueller, Johns, LaMere, <br />Ostrum and Skinner. Voting No: None.
