BUSINESS PARK 95 ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
MEETING MINUTES

The Business Park 95 Architectural Review Board conducted a meeting on Thursday, April 18,
1996, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota.

Members Present:

Jim DeLally, Carbon Products Technology
Benjamin Deemer, Planning Commission
Bradley Thorud, Planning Commission (arrived at 5:40 p.m.)
David Kent, Economic Development Commission
Kenneth Wagner, Economic Development Commission
Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator

Members Absent: Dean Sundquist, Command Corporation

Also Present:

Sylvia Frolik, City Zoning Administrator

CALL TO ORDER

City Administrator Ryan Schroeder called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.

APPROVAL OFAGENDA

The consensus of those present was to approve the agenda as submitted.

BOARD BUSINESS

Case #1: Review Site Plan for Saucier

Mr. Schroeder indicated that the site plan under review was prepared by Corporate Real Estate
for Copper Sales, Inc. for their new Saucier facility to be constructed in Ramsey.

Ms. Frolik indicated that the proposal is for a 30,400 square foot office and manufacturing
facility and it meets all City Code performance standards except for curbing. The applicants
have requested that the requirement for curbing be waived on the south and east sides of the
parcel. The reason for the request for waiver is that the south side of the subject property borders
the Anoka Municipal Utility transmission lines and the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks and
the absence of curbing in this area should not have an adverse impact on any neighboring
business owner. The reason for requesting the waiver on the east side is this area is planned for
future expansion and the improvements installed today would have to be destroyed at some point
in the future.

Business Park 95 Architectural Review Board/April 18, 1996
Page 1 of 3
