FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 1994, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />Economic Development Coordinator James Gromberg <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman and Peterson. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Presentation of Facilities Study <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that City Council hired the firm of Boarman Kroos Phister <br />Rudin & Associates (BKPR) to conduct a space needs analysis for Public Works, Police <br />and Fire facilities. He introduced Mr. David Kroos of Boarman Kroos Phister Rudin & <br />Associates (BKPR) who was present to update the Committee on the study. <br /> <br />Mr. Kroos explained the different options for expansion and the approximate price of each. <br />He observed that Stafl~s approach has been very conservative and added that the options <br />are very buildable and the site adequate. <br /> <br />Finance Committee/April 26, 1994 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
