! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />January 13, 1993 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Ronald Hetland <br />Commissioner Todd Cook <br />Commissioner James Gookin <br />Commissioner Jacki Florentius (arrived approximately 7:35 p.m.) <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Janice Johnson <br />Commissioner Jill Prail <br />Commissioner Jay Swokowski <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Coordinator Mark Boos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />ChairpersOn Hetland called the regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission to <br />order at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Determine Park Dedication for Ramsey Commons Second Addition; Case <br />of North Suburban Development, Inc. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Coordinator Boos stated he called Mr. Jack Menkveld to notify him of this <br />meeting; however, Mr. Menkveld was out of town. He stated he had earlier mailed him a <br />letter regarding this meeting and Staff's recommendation for park dedication. Mr. <br />Menkveld did not respond. Mr. Boos stated that Ramsey Commons 2nd Addition is <br />comprised: of seven lots replatted from the existing four lots currently known as Ramsey <br />Commons. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to recommend to City Council to require dedicating, to <br />the City, a 35 'foot wide walkway connecting the 148th Lane N.W. cul-de-sac to County <br />Road #5 With a general alignment to the existing 148th Lane N .W. west of County Road <br />#5, and that, in addition to the general requirements of turf establishment and permanent <br />boundary marker location, the developer shall be required to construct and complete an 8 <br />foot bituminous walkway connecting 148th Lane N.W. and County Road #5 not to exceed <br />five percent (5%) in grade.
