One of these parcels is very delinquent and Anoka <br />s ~dvised it will go to tax forfeiture in 1993 unless the property is brought <br />ih~.stated she placed a draw on the Letter of Credit in the full amount of <br />a~ the City received payment for same on November 5, 1992. Mr. Sentyrz <br />~ o~ the Letter of Credit draw action. (He had been contacted earlier of the City's <br />ra,~ on such letter and replied to "Do what you have to do".) Mrs. Helling stated <br />:~ul present this $6,060.00 to Anoka County as payment received, but it would <br />1 al dnst all outstanding or delinquent property taxes and special assessments. <br />d c roSe the forfeiture process to be delayed by a couple of years. To apply this <br />tga nst special assessments only, the City can abate the principal amount of the <br />~t )y $6,060.00. This would apply the payment appropriately without <br /> <br />interrup~t)g the forfeiture process and the City will receive the remaining balance due when <br />the pro~y ~; sold through forfeiture or reclaimed prior to final forfeiture action. <br /> <br />Motion ~ C0uncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to direct the <br />Finance~0ffi~er to prepare an Abatement of Special Assessments for Improvement Project <br />#87-24 ~a[gaia. st PIN 35-32-25-22-0015 in the amount of $6,060.00 and place on the <br />co sent iagen~a for the next Council meeting. <br />Motion ~arri*~d.
