<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Member Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Asst. Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:14 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) THI0 Interchange Design Selection <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson introduced Don Demaris from SRF Consulting, Mark Lindberg <br />from MnDOT and Jacqueline McCorkle from Anoka County. He stated that they would review <br />the potential designs for TH10 with the hopes that the Council will select one at tonight's <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Demaris stated that they are working on the environmental assessment and the geometric <br />layout of the MnDOT approved design. He stated that in December 2007, there were meetings <br />held with the business community and in February, meetings were held with the public including <br />a separate meeting with the residents of the mobile home park.
