<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 10,2008, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember . Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Aaron Nielson, Auditor, Malloy, Montague, Kamowski, and Radosevich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />MayorGamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:14 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Receipt of 2007 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report <br /> <br />Finance Officer. Lund introduced Aaron Nielsen of Malloy, Montague, Kamowski and <br />Radosevich (MMKR), who conducted the audit. <br /> <br />Aaron Nielsen of MMKR, reviewed the Management Report 'and noted that their opinion was <br />that there are no matters involving the City's internal control over financial reporting that they <br />consider to have significant deficiencies or material weaknesses; their testing disclosed no <br />instances of noncompliance; and noted no issues with compliance with Minnesota laws and <br />regulations. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / June 10,2008 <br />Page 1 of5 <br />
