<br />ORDINANCE #08-18 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.11.02 (ACCESSORY BUILDINGS) <br />OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the <br />City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTON 2 AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />9.11.02 <br /> <br />Accessory Uses & Buildings <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Sport courts and other impervious surfaces must meet the <br />mlmmum setbacks established for accessory buildings in Section 9.20.11 unless <br />otherwise specified by this code. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Every commercial fishing pond shall be enclosed by a fence or <br />wall not less than four (4) feet high to prevent uncontrolled access by small children. <br /> <br />Subd.3. Swimming Pools & Spas (also see Section 8.21). <br /> <br />a. Setback Requirements <br /> <br />1. Swimming pools and spas shall be setback a minimum of ten (10) <br />feet from all adjoining lots. For comer lots, swimming pools and <br />spas shall meet the required side yard setback for buildings in the <br />applicable zoning district (Section 9.20.11 Subd.4). <br /> <br />(a) Swimming pools and spas may not extend closer to the front <br />lot line of the parcel than the principal structure located on said <br />parcel, except that on residential parcels of one (1) acre or <br />more in size, a swimming pool or spa may be constructed <br />closer to the front lot line thaJ;l the principal structure, provided <br />
