It was a subdivision
with about 20 - 2 1/2 acre lots. He also explained that at the time of final plat approval,
there was no intention of having a park or trailway go through the plat so the City
accepted cash in lieu of property. Mr. Otto told Ms. Welch that it would be very difficult
to develop a park in Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition unless the City acquired a lot from
the developer.

Upon inquiry as to what the nearest developed park was to Green Valley Estates 2nd
Addition - Mr. Otto replied Central Park.

Chairman Hetland informed Ms. Wiech that at this time there is no plans to have a park
developed for Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition, however, if there is a change in future
plans the Park and Recreation Commission will notify her.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion by Commissioner Prall and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to approve the
agenda with the following additions:

Case #3: Renaming of the southern half of River's Bend Park.
Case #4: Review Northfork 5th Addition

PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION / JANUARY 10, 1991
PAGE I OF 5
