Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-01-019 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0859 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM GENE AND CINDY GOEDE FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR AN OVERSIZING OF AN ACCESSORY BUILDING ON A SINGLE PROPERTY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Gene and Cindy Goede on <br />November 18, 2009 for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory structure <br />space permitted on the property generally known as 17725 Baugh Street N.W. and legally <br />described as follows: <br />The south 495 feet of the west 880 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter <br />of Section 6, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota as measured at right <br />angles to the south and west lines thereof (subject to County Road No. 83 Baugh Street) <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br />That on October 23, 2008, Gene and Cindy Goede, hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Applicant", properly applied for an interim use permit (the "Interim Use Permit") to <br />exceed the amount of accessory structure square footage allowed by City Code Section <br />9.11.02 by 880 square feet to allow construction of a 4,400 square foot accessory structure <br />(the "New Structure") as well as a home occupation permit to operate a tree service on the <br />Subject Property (the "Home Occupation Permit"). The request was ultimately approved <br />fora 4,400 square foot accessory structure, or a total of a 1,280 square foot temporary <br />overage. <br />2. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on November 6, 2008 and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br />3. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey City Council on November 25, 2008 and <br />that said meeting was properly advertised and that the minutes of said meeting are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br />4. That the City approved the request for the Interim Use Permit and the Home Occupation <br />Permit on November 25, 2008. The Interim Use Permit allowed for construction of a <br />4,400 square foot accessory structure to store commercial motor vehicles and equipment, <br />as defined by Ramsey City Code, related to the Home Occupation Permit.
