<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, February 23, <br />2010, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig - arrived at 5:56 p.m. <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Curt Kobilarcsik, Anoka County <br />Jason Orcutt, Anoka County <br />City Engineer Tim Himmer <br />Planning Manager Amber Miller <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br />Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5 :29 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Consider Joint Powers Agreement (JP A) with Anoka County for the Reconstruction <br />of Bunker Lake Boulevard, between Basalt to Germanium Street <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Curt Kobilarcsik, explained the reasoning behind the MOU to the JPA. They summarized the <br />feedback from the public meeting noting that overall there was a positive feeling. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wise stated the property owners preferred a roundabout. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / February 23, 2010 <br />Page 10f5 <br />
