LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT DECEMBER 21, 1988 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:40 a.m. in the Coianittee Room of Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Members present included Chairman Jim Schrantz, Pete Raatikka; Tom Mathisen, and John Weaver. .Guests in attendance were Dr. Joseph,Abeler, John Buyse, and Mike Wilber.; NOVEMBER MINUTES On page 2 of the November 16, 1988, minutes under New Business, last sentence of the first paragraph, Mathisen queried the accuracy of the statement whereby Schultz was informed by Skallman that a detention pond would not be necessary because of the small size of the project. Because Ray Schultz, Public Works Director for the City of Anoka, was not present to confirm or deny said statement, Mathisen requested that the minutes re- flect the board's uncertainty. Motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, that the November 16, 1988 minutes be approved as amended. All voted yes. Motion carried. TREASURER'S REPORT Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending November 30, 1988, showing a balance of $20,534.30. Said balance does not reflect the payment of the $238.27 bill from the City of Anoka which was approved for payment at the November 16, 1988, WMO meeting. Motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to approve the Treasurer's Report as presented. All voted yes. Motion carried. PAYMENT OF BILLS Mathisen reported receiving a bill from Barr Engineering for profes- sional services in the amount of $216.50 for the period July 31, 1988, through October 29, 1988, for meeting attendance, permit review, and visitation of the Rum River erosion concerns. Mathisen stated that the bill seems to be in order. Motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to approve payment of the $216.50 Barr Engineering bill. REPORT OF OFFICERS None.
