LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />NOVEMBER 28, 1990 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Ramsey alternate Steve Jankowski, filling in for Vice - <br />Chairman Pete Raatikka, called the meeting to order at 8:40 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Scott Erickson, Pete Raatikka (8:48 <br />a.m.), and John Weaver. Chairman Jim Schrantz was absent. <br />Also present were alternates Steve Jankowski and Ray Schultz. <br />Todd Haas, Assistant City Administrator /Engineer, Andover, <br />attended in an informational capacity due to Chairman <br />Schrantz's recent health problems. :Barr Engineering Consul- <br />tant Dean Skallman was also present. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Erickson, to APPROVE <br />THE OCTOBER 17, 1990, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Erickson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending October 31, 1990. He reported handling of the LRRWMO <br />finances has been changed, as directed at the October 1990 <br />meeting. An interest bearing savings account has been opened <br />in the amount of $4,409.85, and a certificate of deposit <br />account has been established in the amount of $8,000.00, <br />leaving a minimum checking account balance of $10.00. Grand <br />total. balance in all LRRWMO accounts is $12,426.26. This <br />procedure will not only allow the LRRWMO finances to accrue <br />interest, but will eliminate monthly service charges. As <br />bills are paid, money needed will be transferred into the <br />checking account. <br />Erickson reported the City of Ramsey has not yet paid its <br />last half of this year membership fee. Jankowski indicated <br />he would check into the matter. <br />Weaver recommended the Treasurer's Report include a <br />"Receivables" line item which will indicate which member <br />cities have and have not paid their dues. Other members <br />concurred. <br />
