LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />DECEMBER 17, 1992 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:30 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Steve Jankowski, and Anoka <br />Alternate Ray Schultz. Bill Ottensman and John Weaver were <br />absent. <br />Also present was Deputy Treasurer Jim Knutson. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Knutson presented the bills for payment consideration: A <br />$175.00 bill from Barr Engineering, invoice #15102 -390, dated <br />November 25, 1992, for professional services during the <br />period October 4 through October 31, 1992. He also discussed <br />the LRRWMO partial payment withheld, during the November 19, <br />1992, regular LRRWMO meeting, from the August 30 through <br />October 3, 1992, Barr Engineering bill for engineering work <br />done on the Mineral Pond Sixth Addition project. Knutson <br />reported discussing this with Skallman by telephone and <br />recommended the board authorize payment of this $56.00 <br />expenditure. Knutson also presented a bill payable to the <br />Minnesota Book Store, Department of Administration, in the <br />amount of $31.20 for advertising for consulting services in <br />the State Register. <br />Motion was made by Jankowski, seconded by Schultz, to AUTHOR- <br />IZE PAYMENT OF THE BILLS PRESENTED: BARR ENGINEERING FOR <br />$175.00 AND MINNESOTA BOOK STORE IN THE AMOUNT OF $31.20, AS <br />WELL AS THE $56.00 TO BARR ENGINEERING FOR PAYMENT OF <br />ENGINEERING WORK DONE ON THE MINERAL POND SIXTH ADDITION <br />PROJECT, AS PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED AT THE NOVEMBER MEETING. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Schrantz noted in the November 19, 1992, meeting minutes <br />where a question had been raised about whether or not the <br />fiscal year 1993 -94 final cost assessments were based on <br />total valuation of each member city without deducting tax <br />increment financing. Knutson indicated he contacted Anoka <br />County officials about this matter and confirmed that the <br />
