ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA On Monday, May 3, 2010, the Environmental Policy Board (EPB) met in the Mississippi River Conference Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Chairperson Michael Max Board Member Kathleen Riley-Daniels Board Member John Freeburg Board Member Bob Bentz Board Member John Enstrom Board Member Thomas Stodola Members Absent: Board Member Trent Hassett Also Present: Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Max called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. CITIZEN INPUT Chairperson Max thanked Environmental Coordinator Anderson and the entire EPB for a wonderful expo event. Chairperson Max stated that all of the various exhibitors he spoke with throughout the day had very positive feedback about the event, about the number of folks that they were able to speak with and the quality of the questions that they received. Boazd Member Riley-Daniels stated that she spoke with S & B Geothermal afterward and the representative thought that the event was certainly a success. She had a lot of good conversations with folks about geothermal heating, some that already had a geothermal system and many that were interested in learning more about them. Chairperson Max stated that at about the midpoint of the event, he spoke with the MNRRA exhibitor who had informed that by that point, he had already had about 150 visitors at his booth. He uses a clicker to track how much traffic he receives at these events and was very pleasantly surprised that he had well surpassed 100 visitors about half way through the event.
