CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Tim Himmer <br />Planning Manager Amber Miller <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Associate Planner Gladhill <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:38 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Update on Comprehensive Plan <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed staff's report. <br />Councilmember Look stated the memorandum of understanding was obvious and he was not <br />sure why there needed to be one. He asked if the property owner had been notified. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill responded the property owner had been notified, but if Council would <br />not support this, there would be no point in discussing this further with the property owner. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated the concern was that this would hold up the Comprehensive <br />Plan approval if it was not approved. <br />City Council Work Session /June 15, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
