CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:51 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Great River Energy Transmission Project <br />Planning Manager Miller reviewed staffls report. <br />Dave Kempf and Mark Strohfus from Great River Energy presented the transmission project. <br />Connexus Energy representatives were also present for questions. <br />Mayor Ramsey stated he did not believe Council would want the line running in front of the <br />Town Center. <br />Mayor Ramsey noted phase one did not seem to be an issue, but when phase two was ready, the <br />City would want input and some control. <br />City Council Work Session /July 13, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
