COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report. <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Randy Backous <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:31 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Wise, seconded by Councilmember Backous, to approve the agenda <br />as submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Councilmembers Wise and Backous. Voting <br />No: None. <br />Case #1: Consider Fee for Agent of Record for Property, Casualty and Workers <br />Compensation <br />Chairperson Elvig stated he would prefer to see the recommendation from the City Administrator <br />on various policies. He also noted the Safety Committee should be consulted on the policy. <br />Motion by Councilmember Backous, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to recommend that the <br />City Council recommend a not -to- exceed amount of $5,800 for the City's agent of Record for <br />Property, Casualty and Workers Compensation services. <br />Finance Committee / February 8, 2011 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
