The Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, February <br />2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Agenda is as follows: <br />• Appoint Chair and Vice Chair <br />• Consider Ordinance to Amend City Code Section 117 -118 Entitled The COR (including <br />the Design Framework) <br />• Discussion of Pending and Planned Zoning Code Amendments <br />• Discussion of 2030 Comprehensive Plan Assumptions Related to Pending Sanitary Sewer <br />and Water Plan Updates <br />Council Update <br />Mayors Trail Ride. The Mayors Trail Ride has been rescheduled to February 11. Whether or <br />not the ride will actually take place will depend on the weather. There is currently not enough <br />snow on the trails and not enough safe ice on the Rum River to have such an event. The <br />Committee will be meeting next week to make a decision on how to proceed. The Council may <br />be asked to grant a special permit to allow snowmobiles in the ditch along County Road #5 for <br />that day. More information to follow. <br />StarTribune Article re Northstar. An article was published in the StarTribune titled "Anoka <br />County no longer on board for Northstar formula ". The article talks about the formula originally <br />established with regard to the percentage each County along the Northstar rail pays. Anoka <br />County currently pays 53.9 percent of the local counties' obligations and Anoka County <br />commissioner Look has stated he believes Sherburne County should pay more than the current <br />13.2 percent for Phase II of the project if the line is extended to St. Cloud, based on ridership. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update is the StarTribune article re the Northstar formula. <br />
